The Council will review municipal codes for review and possible amendment and update to reference to Town Council from Board of Selectmen, as well as updates on possible language to reflect current law. In accordance with the Charter, this will be the first review with a public hearing scheduled at a later date. The codes to be reviewed are: Chapter 29 – Election, Chapter 143 – Board of Selectmen, Chapter 156 – Town Meetings, Chapter 185 – Ambulance Services Billing and Collections, Chapter 219 – Cable Television. Approved 8-0 for review for final votes at the 12/18/23 Town Council Meeting.
