Thank you for allowing us a few moments this evening to formally welcome our four newest
firefighters who started with us on September 8th.
We are excited to introduce them to you and to the community they now serve.
Mr. Travis Bounsy, Badge #274 of West Newbury, MA
Mr. Bouncy has been working as a firefighter/EMT for Merrimac, MA Fire Department
since July of 2024. He also has experience as an On-Call Firefighter for Newbury, MA
and West Newbury, MA Fire Departments. Travis is Firefighter I & II certified and an
EMT-B.
Mr. William Willette, Badge #275 of Salem, NH
Mr. Willette has been working for Atkinson Fire Department since 2022 and previously
worked as a heavy equipment operator for Salem Municipal Services. He is Firefighter I
& II certified and an EMT-B.
Mr. Tyler Burgoyne, Badge #276 of Salem, NH
Mr. Burgoyne is a volunteer at Pelham Fire Department and recently graduated from the
NH Fire Academy. He is Firefighter I & II certified and an EMT-B. Mr. Burgoyne is
currently enrolled in an A-EMT course fall 2025. Prior to becoming a firefighter, Tyler
received his Master’s degree in Education and worked as a public school teacher.
Mr. Noah Souther, Badge #277 of North Hampton, NH
Mr. Souther is a certified EMT-B and has recently obtained his Firefighter I certification.
Mr. Souther is currently working as a plumbing apprentice and is attending Lakes Region
Community College where he is studying for his Fire Science associate’s degree.
