Salem, NH Project Engineer, Todd Welch, describes the history and status of the Bridge St Bridge reconstruction project. This bridge is part of the NH DOT Bridge Program which is funded 80% by the state and 20% by the town. The work being done includes: clearing the area, utilities relocation and water diversion. Todd also compares this project to the bridge on Lawrence Rd. Anticipated completion is October 2026. Todd encourages interested residents to go to the town website for updates. At the end of this video is time lapsed footage of a similar bridge in another town.
